Junichiro Yamashita, an assemblyman for Taiji Japan is the first official to take a stand against the idiotic practice of feeding school children toxic dolphin and pilot whale meat, which contains high levels of mercury. He was told he would not be re-elected if he spoke of the dolphin issue, but he has put the community's interest above his own.
